Free Syrian communication (FSC)

This Project provides internet services for media, relief work and health organizations working inside Syria after the Regime has stopped providing most of the areas out of its control with electricity.

Project work for 5 years 2012 – 2017.

This project funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and this project aims to provide the internet connection equipment and cybersecurity support for media, relief work and health organizations working inside Syria after the Regime has stopped providing most of the areas out of its control with electricity.

FSC project was started in Nov-2012.

Our project started in November 2012 by providing satellite Internet terminals from Astra to the target groups inside Syria and the project FSC continued for five phases, which ended in February 2017 the last phase of it 2016-2017 in collaboration with HIVOS.

Project Outputs:

The total number of direct beneficiaries from Internet support of the project are 3749 as shown in the following table:
